Front Interior Lamp, Replacing

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing





- Position the tip of the (3409) on the ribs on the hands-free microphone trim - 1 -.

• The felt strips under the trim must not be damaged.

- Pry the trim off carefully - arrow -.

- Carefully slide the tip of the (3409) in the center under the lens - 1 -, release the four retaining tabs and remove the lens - arrows -.





- Remove the bulb - 1 - or - 2 - (12V, 10 W) from the clamping socket.





- First insert the four retaining tabs on the lens - 1 - in the lamp housing - arrows - and press on the back edge until it engages.





Installing

Install in reverse order.
