Selector Lever Park Position Locking Lever

• Lubricate bearing areas and slide surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).

Removing:

- Remove shift gate => [ Shift Gate ] Shift Gate

- Pry out both bushings at left and right - 2 - using a screwdriver.





- Remove selector lever position "P" locking lever.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Insert locking lever and secure it with left and right bushings - 2 -.

- Check locking lever function.

• Emergency release lever - arrow - must be able to be moved up and down easily.





• If it is difficult to move emergency release lever - arrow -, you may have installed the bushings incorrectly under certain circumstances.

• If emergency release lever is difficult to move, ignition key removal lock does not work.

- Install shift gate => [ Shift Gate ] Shift Gate
