Cylinder Head Cover

Removing

- Remove intake manifold.

- Remove bolts - arrows - and lay aside fuel line bracket.





- Remove electrical wiring bracket from upper timing chain cover.

- Loosen cylinder head cover bolts in - 11 to 1 - sequence.





- Remove bolts and remove cylinder head cover.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Cylinder Head and Cylinder Head Cover Assembly Overview ] Cylinder Head and Cylinder Head Cover Assembly Overview, => [ Cylinder Head Cover - Tightening Specifications
and Tightening Sequence ] Cylinder Head and Cylinder Head Cover Assembly Overview

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace cylinder head cover seals and bolts if damaged.

- Tighten cylinder head cover bolts. Refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover - Tightening Specifications
and Tightening Sequence ] Cylinder Head and Cylinder Head Cover Assembly Overview.

- Install intake manifold.
