CD Changer, through 10.2008

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Radio Removal Tool (T10057)

• Fiber Optic Plier Repair Set (VAS 6223)

• Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine in the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing

- Insert two clips on (T10057) in release slits on CD changer (R41) until they engage. Points on the grip eyelets of tool face outward.






- Remove CD changer from mounting frame.

- Disconnect all connectors from the CD changer.

- Connect the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - to the connector for the MOST-Bus - 2 -.






- Remove (T10057) , push locking tabs on CD changer to do so.

- Unclip the front trim piece from the CD changer.

Installing

- Connect all harness connectors.

- Slide CD changer into mounting frame until it engages.
