Hood Lock Bracket





1 - Hood

• Height adjustment is performed via the lock bracket.

• Screw lock bracket completely into hood.

• Remove the bracket 3 rotations.

• Place anti-twist mechanism on and secure it over lock bracket with a Torx bolt.

• Check flush alignment and gap dimensions. Refer to => [ Panel Gap Dimensions ] Adjustments.

• During the closing test, the lid must fall from the balance position into the lid lock and engage completely.

• Correct the adjustment and perform the test one more time, if necessary





2 - Rubber Stop

• To adjust hood, screw out buffer stop far enough until flush alignment to fender is attained.

• For correct adjustment, buffer stop must make contact on lock carrier.

3 - Anti-Twist Mechanism with Lock Bracket

• Secure anti-twist mechanism after hood adjustment via lock bracket.

4 - Screw

• 2 Nm

5 - Clip

• Inserted in inner part of hood.

6 - Spring Damper

• Clipped in inner part of hood.
