Damper Unit

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Counter-holder tool (10 - 201)

Removing

Proceed as follows:

• Transmission removed.

- Insert counter hold tool (10 - 201) to loosen bolts - arrow -.





- Remove bolts - 1 - and damper unit - A - from flywheel - B -.





Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• The damper unit part number is assigned to the transmission code.

- Re-position counter hold tool (10 - 201) to tighten bolts.

- Align damper unit - A - on flywheel - B -.

• The installation markings - 2 - must align.

- Install bolts by hand until they make contact and then tighten in a diagonal sequence.
