Oil Check Valves

• If irregular valve noise occurs repeatedly during short journeys and disappears after extended driving, the oil check valves must be replaced.

Removing

- Remove the intake manifold.

- Remove the crankcase ventilation pipes - 1 and 2 -.





- Remove the cover bolts and cover - 3 - from below the intake manifold.

- Remove the oil check valves - 1 and 2 -.





Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Replace the gaskets and O-rings.

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps of series production status.

- Install the intake manifold.
