Lock Carrier, Pulling Toward the Front

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Support tool (3369)

• Before raising the vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), activate the vehicle lift mode.

Procedure

- Remove the front noise insulation fasteners - 1 - and noise insulation.





- Remove the front bumper.

- Remove the bolt - arrow - on the left and right sides.





- Remove the bolts - 2 - on the left and right sides.





- Install a M8 x 90 bolt - 1 -, for example, from the (3369) on the left and right sides.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - and pull the lock carrier toward the front.





Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• All cable ties which are opened or cut off when removing the engine, must be replaced in the same position when installing the engine.

- Install the lock carrier with attachments.

- Install the front bumper.

- Adjust the headlamps.
