Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

Virbration damper, removing and installing

- Ribbed belt removed.

- Lock carrier must be in service position.

Note: To remove the vibration dampener it is not necessary to remove the center bolt.

- Remove vibration dampener.





- When installing, make sure notches (arrows) in vibration dampener are aligned with locating lugs on toothed belt sprocket.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
