Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory, Checking (scan Tool Function 02)
- Switch on printer with the PRINT button (indicator lamp in button lights up).
Indicated on display:

Select function XX
- Press buttons 0 and 2 to select function "Check DTC memory."
Indicated on display:

- Press Q button to confirm input.
The number of stored malfunctions appears on display.
X DTC recognized! ->
The number of stored DTCs or "No DTCs recognized" appears in the display and they are printed one after the other.
- With printed list of malfunctions go to diagnostic trouble code table for instructions on how to correct malfunctions. Instrument Cluster/Carrier
If "No DTC recognized" is displayed, the program will return to the initial position after pressing the -> button.
No DTC recognized! ->
Indicated on display:
Rapid data transfer HELP
Select function XX
If display is different:
- End output (function 06). Code Control Module (Function 07)
- Switch off ignition and disconnect Data Link Connector (DLC).
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory, Erasing (scan Tool Function 05)
NOTE: If DTC memory cannot be erased, check DTC memory again and correct indicated malfunctions.
Requirements:
- DTC memory was checked.
- All malfunctions have been corrected
After checking DTC memory:
Indicated on display.

Select function XX
- Press buttons 0 and 5. Function 05 activates "Erase DTC memory."
Indicated on display.

05 Erase DTC memory
- Press Q button to confirm input.
Indicated on display.
Rapid data transfer ->
DTC memory is erased!
With this the DTC memory is erased.
- Press -> button.
