Handle outer tailgate upper, replacing

Removing the exterior handle from the upper tailgate





Remove:
- the wiper arm. See Tailgate wiper arm / blade, replacing Tailgate Wiper Arm/Blade, Replacing
- the panel. See Panel, tailgate, replacing
- the 3 screws for the wiper motor
- the wiper motor
- the mechanical cable for the outer opening handle
- the 4 nuts
- the connector.
Remove the outer handle.

Installing the exterior handle on the upper tailgate

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications [1][2]Body and Frame.

Install:
- the opening handle
- 4 M6 nuts. Tighten
- the mechanical cable for the outer opening handle
- the wiper motor
- the connector for the wiper motor
- the 3 M6 screws. Tighten
- the panel. See Panel, tailgate, replacing
