Electric motor backrest cushion, replacing

Removal

Removing the electric motor for the backrest cushion
Remove the front seat. See: Front seat, replacing Front Seat, Replacing.
Detach and pull up the upholstery. See: Upholstery back rest, replacing, Executive Upholstery Backrest, Replacing.




Remove the black protective pad from the reverse of the backrest cushion. It is secured by 4 clips.




Cut off the 4 x half moon clips on the foam rubber cushion. Fold the cushion to one side.





Remove:
- the M6 nut on the side where the electric motor is located. Pull out the shaft
- the screw for the electric motor
- the connector by pushing it backwards.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications [1][2]Body and Frame.

Install the electric motor
Insert the shaft and hang the motor on it.

Install:
- the connector
- the screw
- 1 x M6 nut
- the backrest cushion
- the 4 x half moon clips
- the protective pad
- the upholstery. See: Upholstery back rest, replacing, Executive Upholstery Backrest, Replacing
- the front seat. See: Front seat, replacing Front Seat, Replacing.
