Removal

Remove the battery. Refer to: Battery, replacing Removal and Replacement.





Remove the air cleaner housing Refer to: Air cleaner housing, B6324S Service and Repair.




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Slacken the tensioner.Use: 19 mm fixed wrench. Lock the tensioner in the slackened position. Use: 3 mm pin.




Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Torque: M10, 50 Nm




Torque: M8, 24 Nm





Note! Note the position of the shims to facilitate installation.

Torque: air conditioning clutch drive plate, 24 Nm








When installing: Use a feeler gauge to check the play between the rotary plate and the belt pulley. Measure at several spots around the entire rotary plate. Play should be between 0.3 and 0.6 mm. Replace the shims if play is not within the specified values.
