Engine, installing

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
Installation
Caution! Make sure that no components catch when lifting the engine.
Use: Lift table.
Make sure that the mating surfaces on the ball joints and control arms are clean.
Raise the engine/transmission unit. Stop the lift approx. 15 cm before the subframe reaches the frame members.
Install (on both sides) the drive shaft to the hub.
Continue raising the engine until it is only approx. 50 mm before it makes contact.
Guide the lower steering shaft into the hole in the firewall.

Install the following items:

Install the following items:
- the auxiliaries belt. Refer to: Service and Repair
- the catalytic converter. Refer to: Catalytic converter, B6324S Service and Repair
- the propeller shaft. Refer to: Propeller Shaft, B6324S, TF-80SC AWD Propeller Shaft
- front tires. Refer to: Installing wheels Service and Repair
Charge the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding Service and Repair
Connect the battery. Refer to: Battery, replacing Removal and Replacement
Move over the oil level sensor. Refer to: Level sensor engine oil, B6324S Service and Repair
