DESCRIPTION:
A booming pulsation may be felt or heard in the 3rd row seats when the vehicle is stopped in Drive with the brake applied and the engine at idle.
SERVICE:
Confirm the customer's symptom (preferably with the customer present) by sitting in the 3rd row seat while somebody else is in the driver's seat with the vehicle stopped in Drive with the brake applied and the engine at idle.
Once the booming is confirmed adjust the bump stops in the tailgate in order to remedy the booming. The bump stops must be turned all the way in (clockwise) according to the photos in the attachment.
Note!
There is a small step in the threads that may be hard to pass into the body but twisting hard enough will allow it to pass.
