Condition




The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) both sends and receives information from the Brake Control Module (BCM) via the Control Area Network (CAN). If the Differential Electronic Module (DEM) registers that there is no signal from the Brake Control Module (BCM) or a faulty signal is indicated, the trouble code is set.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- Four wheel drive is disengaged.
