Condition




If the transmission control module (TCM) registers that reverse or forward drive is not engaged when the gear selector is moved to position R or D, diagnostic trouble code (DTC) TCM-P170100 or TCM-P273200 depending on the cause of the fault.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.
