Condition




The Engine control module (ECM) monitors the fuel temperature in the fuel rail using the fuel temperature sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the signal from the fuel temperature sensor is too high.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute value
- The signal from the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is used.

Possible source
- The signal cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Open-circuit in the signal cable.
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor.
