Checking Component And Connections







- Ignition on
- Activate readout of electronic throttle unit's position.
- Check that read-off throttle position shows reasonable values at different deployments.
- Ignition off

Check engine control module ECM) and the electronic throttle unit's connector for contact resistance and oxidation.

Check if the electronic throttle unit is blocked by an object and press on the throttle disc to see if it binds.

Clean the electronic throttle unit if needed.
