Checking Components And Wiring







- Ignition off

Check relevant connectors for loose connections, contact resistance and oxidation.

Check the signal cables and the ground cable for short-circuit to voltage and open circuit.

Check between:
- The control module #B5 (#A65) and electronic throttle unit's connector #6, signal cable position sensor 1.
- The control module #B7 (#A67) and electronic throttle unit's connector #4, signal cable position sensor 2.
- The control module #A11 (#A11) and electronic throttle unit's connector #3, ground.

Remedy as necessary.

Other Information
- Connecting the breakout box
- Signal specification, engine control module (ECM)
- Throttle body (electronic throttle module (ETM)), replacing
- Checking wiring and terminals
