ECM-P068500 ECM/PCM Power Relay Control Circuit/Open Circuit

Condition







After the ignition has been turned off the engine control module (ECM) performs internal checks. Within 10 minutes the checks are completed. Then the control module cuts off the activation to the system relay's winding.

If the control module registers that the system relay still is active after activation has been cut off, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.

- Nothing.

Possible Source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Damaged system relay.
