ECM-P050700 Idle Control RPM Higher Than Expected

Condition
If engine control module (ECM) registers that idle rpm is 200 rpm higher than the nominal idle rpm, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed with warm engine (higher than 80 degree C), vehicle stationary and idling.

- Nothing.

Possible Source
- Look for the cause of the malfunction in some part of the air or fuel system (air leakage, clogging, etc.).

Fault Symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
- High idle rpm.
