ECM-P046100 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Within/Outside Limit Values

Condition







The central electronic module (CEM) sends the engine control module (ECM) information on fuel level and the fault status of the fuel level sensor.

The engine control module (ECM) compares engine fuel consumption with the change in the fuel level over a certain period of time. The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the engine control module (ECM) registers an unreasonably small reduction in the fuel level as compared to calculated fuel consumption.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.
