Checking Components And Wiring







- Ignition off

HINT: The fuel temperature sensor is integrated in the fuel pressure sensor.

Check the fuel pressure sensor connector and terminals. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.

Check the fuel temperature sensor resistance. Take readings between terminals #1 and #2 on the fuel pressure sensor.

Disconnect the engine control module (ECM).

Check the signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Take readings between terminal #A46 (#A46) and fuel pressure sensor #2.

Remedy as necessary.
