CAUTION: Do not apply rust solvent spray or grease to the heated oxygen sensor's (HO2S) connector.

Check the cable between the Engine Control Module (ECM) terminal #A40 (#A40) and rear heated oxygen sensor terminal #4 (bank 2). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

If the above troubleshooting does not solve the problem, try a new heated oxygen sensor.

Remedy as necessary.
