Checking The Status

Check whether the fault is permanent or intermittent. Read off the pressure sensor signal for intake pressure and the atmospheric pressure sensor signal. Check that the values are approximately the same.

HINT: The atmospheric pressure sensor signal is used as a reference value for the pressure sensor signal for intake pressure.

The fault is permanent if the values do not correspond. If the values do not correspond, it indicates that the fault is intermittent and not presently active.
