Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

The transmission control module (TCM) continuously monitors the voltage and compares it with a voltage value sent out on the CAN network by the central electronic module (CEM).
If the transmission control module (TCM) registers that the system voltage differs more than ±1.7V from the voltage in the central electronic module (CEM) a fault code will be generated.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.

Hint: Emergency mode in case of malfunction Emergency Mode In Case of Malfunction

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector on the transmission control model (TCM) or the gearbox.
- Battery charger with incorrect voltage has been used.
- Internal fault in transmission control module (TCM).

Fault symptom[s]
- General warning lamp lit
