Condition




The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) checks its power supply by comparing the voltage of the Differential Electronic Module (DEM) with that of the Central Electronic Module (CEM). If the control module registers a difference which exceeds 2.0 V, the fault code is set.
The trouble code may be diagnosed after 10 seconds with the ignition on.

Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disengaged.

Possible source

Signal too high:
- Faulty power supply to the Central Electronic Module (CEM).

Signal too low:
- Connector resistance and oxidation in the connectors.

- Four wheel drive is not functioning.
