No fault tracing procedure has been defined for this trouble code.
The trouble code for CAN communication can also be set in the Central Electronic module (CEM). In certain instances the trouble code is also set in other affected control modules. This trouble code must not be erased before any CAN communication trouble codes in the Central Electronic Module (CEM) and the Brake Control Module (BCM) have first been remedied and erased.
Therefore read off any trouble codes in the Central Electronic Module (CEM) and the Brake Control Module (BCM), carry out fault tracing procedures and remedy as necessary. If no trouble codes are stored, look for faults in the Control Area Network (CAN) as described below. Thereafter this trouble code may be erased.
