Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting ECM-P213500
Checking the status
- Ignition on
Check if the malfunction is permanent or intermittent by activating readout of the accelerator pedal position sensor's signals.
Check that the value for both signals at unaffected accelerator pedal is approx. 8% and when the pedal is fully pressed down approx. 82%.
If the signal is incorrect, this indicates that the malfunction is permanent. If the signal is correct, this indicates that the malfunction is intermittent and not active right now.
Continue - Checking components and wiring
-------------------------------------------------
Checking components and wiring
Check connector for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check voltage feed between engine control module (ECM) #B32 (#C32) and accelerator pedal position sensor #6.
Check the ground cable between engine control module (ECM) #B7 (#C7) and accelerator pedal position sensor #4.
Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) #B28 (#C28) and accelerator pedal position sensor #2.
Remedy as necessary.
