ECM-P193400 Speed Signal Vehicle


Condition
If an error in the speed-signal is detected in the brake-control module, (BCM), an error report is sent to the engine-control module (ECM) and stored in the ECM.

Error code for the speed-signal will be stored in the ECM.

Substitute Value
- Cruise-control not available.
- Speed-signal from from transmission-control module will be used (TCM), automatic gearbox (AUT).
- Speed-signal from brake-control module will be set at 6 km/h, manual gearbox (MAN).

Possible Source
- Seek fault in brake-control module (BCM).

Fault Symptom[s]
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp lit.
- Cruise control not working at all.
