ECM-P126000

ECM-P126000 Theft Registered, Vehicle Immobilized

Condition
The Engine control module (ECM) and the Central electronic module (CEM) contain a code for the immobilizer which is unique to each vehicle. In addition to this, each key for the vehicle is electronically coded for the intended vehicle only. Internal checks are made at the start to check that the key is the correct one for the vehicle and that the immobilizer codes in the Engine control module (ECM) and Central electronic module (CEM) correspond.

The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that voltage feed for engine control module (ECM) as well as central electronic module (CEM) is lost before immobilizer codes are verified.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.
