ECM-P066100 Intake Manifold Control Valve Control Circuit Low - Bank 1

Condition







The Engine control module (ECM) checks the damper in the Variable Intake System(VIS) by regulating the valve for the damper's vacuum motor. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that the control signal for the control valve is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- Nothing.

Possible Source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Open circuit on signal cable.
- Open circuit in the voltage supply cable.
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.
- Short-circuit to ground in the voltage supply cable.
- Damaged control valve.

Fault Symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
