The engine control module (ECM) checks the control signal to the fuel pump.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a fault in the control signal to the fuel pump.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

- Nothing.

Possible Source
- Fault registered by the central electronic module (CEM)
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.
- Damaged fuel pump (FP) control module.
