ECM-P053300 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor A Circuit High Input Signal

Condition







Engine control module (ECM) checks if the signal from the A/C pressure sensor is reasonable. If the signal from the A/C pressure sensor corresponds to a pressure that is higher than the A/C pressure sensor's normal working range, the control module interprets this as a malfunction and generates the diagnostic trouble code.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- The signal cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Open circuit on the voltage feed.
- Open circuit on signal cable.
- Open circuit in ground cable.
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor.
