ECM-P053100 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor A Circuit Within/Outside Limit Values

Condition







Engine control module (ECM) calculates when a certain minimum pressure change shall have been reached in the A/C system. The control module also measures the actual pressure change using the A/C pressure sensor. If the conditions for the minimum calculated pressure change are fulfilled but the measured pressure change is not, the control module interprets this as a malfunction and the diagnostic trouble code is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed with the engine running and the A/C control active.
