Checking Components And Wiring







- Ignition off
- Disconnect the engine control module (ECM).

Check the signal cables for open-circuit or short-circuit to ground or supply voltage.

Check between:
- Control module terminal #A30 (#A30) and engine speed sensor connector #1, signal cable (+).
- Control module terminal #A6 (#A6) and engine speed sensor connector #2, signal cable (-).

Remedy as necessary.
