CAUTION: Do not apply rust solvent spray or grease to the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connector.

Check the cable between the Engine Control Module (ECM) terminal #A41 (#A41) and rear heated oxygen sensor terminal #4 (bank 1). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Try a new rear heated oxygen sensor if the above measure does not remedy the fault.

Remedy as necessary.
