ECM-P010100 Air Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Within/Exceeding Limit Values


Condition







The engine control module (ECM) measures the air mass through the intake manifold using a sensor.

The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control module detects that the sensor value deviates too much from the value calculated based on a model.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when idling with a warm engine.

Substitute Value
- A value calculated from factors such as engine speed and air pressure in the intake manifold is used.

Possible Source
- Contact resistance in connector.
- Damaged fresh air hose.
- Damaged mass air flow sensor.

Fault Symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
