Troubleshooting BCM-C111542

Checking the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)








- Ignition off
- Check the connector of the brake control module (BCM) for contact resistance and oxidation.
- Reinstall the components, reconnect the connectors etc.
- Ignition on
- Wait approximately 60 seconds.
- Read the status of the diagnostic trouble code.
If the diagnostic trouble code status is permanent, replace the brake control module (BCM).
