LED center console, replacement

Preparatory work

Removing the center console

Remove the center console. See: Center console, replacing Center Console, Replacing

Place the center console upside down on a clean surface.

Removing the LED in the center console




Detach the tape and separate the connector.
Push the tape to one side and disconnect the connector.

Note! Mark the routing of the cable.

Removing the LED in the center console, continued




Remove the LED using a weatherstrip tool.

Note! The clip follows when the LED is removed. Remove and replace with a new clip when installing.

Installation

Install the LED.

Hold the LED in place using the rear end of an 8 mm drift.

Press the clip from the inside of the center console, see arrow.

Remove the drift.
Position the cable as illustrated.
Connect the connector and install the tape.
