Checking the power supply and ground terminal

Checking the power supply and ground terminal

Checking the power supply
- Check the fuse for power supply to control module terminal #C1 (#31).
If the fuse is blown, check the circuit for a short-circuit to ground
- Check the power supply to the control module (terminal #31). The voltage must be battery voltage (Ubat) when the ignition is on.
If the voltage is not correct, check the cable between the system relay and control module terminal #C1 (terminal #31). Check for contact resistance or an open-circuit.

Checking ground terminal
- Check the ground leads between control module terminal #C2 (#32) and the ground terminal in the chassis. Check for an open-circuit
- Check the ground terminal for the control module in the chassis. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Remedy as necessary
