Remove:
- the panel according to Tailgate panel Service and Repair
- the lock mechanism according to Tailgate lock mechanism Tailgate Lock Mechanism
- the mechanical cable from the tailgate
- the clips from the mechanical cable.

Installing the mechanical cable

Install:
- the clips on the mechanical cable
- the mechanical cable on the tailgate
- the lock mechanism according to Tailgate lock mechanism Tailgate Lock Mechanism
- the panel according to Tailgate panel Service and Repair.
