Tailgate Components

Preparations
- After spraying, rust-proof the new tailgate.
- Transfer the gas strut and cover.

NOTE: All components must be removed from the tailgate while in position.

- Ensure that the components and cable harness are installed in such a way that they do not rattle.

Replacing The Components On The Tailgate

Replace:
- the tailgate panel
- the rear spoiler
- the lock mechanism
- the lock cylinder.

Adjust the tailgate.
