Control circuit for the indicator lamp

Condition




During the first two seconds after the ignition is switched on, the immobilizer control module checks the connection with the indicator lamp on the combined instrument panel for short-circuit. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-334 is stored if the control module detects a fault.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the cable between immobilizer control module #1 and the indicator lamp.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable between immobilizer control module #1 and the indicator lamp.

Fault symptom[s]
- The indicator lamp on the combined instrument panel lights.
- The indicator lamp does not light at all.
