Checking wiring and connectors




- Ignition off.
Check the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor and engine control module (ECM) connectors for intermittent contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor and engine control module (ECM) terminals visually according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
