Procedures






Crankcase ventilation, cleaning

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Removing




Remove the screws, x 10, at the intake pipe mating flange.
Lift off the upper section of the intake pipe.
Install999 5723 Cap 999 5723 Cap.





Remove:
- the dipstick tube
- the thick hoses, 2 x, from the T nipple.

Cleaning




Disconnect the hose with the T nipple from the intake pipe.
Remove999 5723 Cap 999 5723 Cap
Clean the hole in the intake pipe using a - 2 mm drill bit.
Remove the hose from the T nipple.
Clean the T nipple. Use a - 2 mm drill bit.
Clean the hose using a - 2 mm cable and blow clean using compressed air
Clean the inlet pipe air duct.

Install:
- the hose on the T nipple
- the hose with the T nipple to the intake pipe.
- cover999 5723 Cap 999 5723 Cap

Installing

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque Tightening Torque




Remove999 5723 Cap 999 5723 Cap

Install:
- a new gasket
- the upper section of the intake pipe. Tighten the screws from inside and outwards alternately.





Install:
- the thick hoses, 2 x, to the T nipple

Note! The T nipple's largest connection to the flame trap.

- the dipstick tube
