Checking the wiring
Check the relay coil driver circuit for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage by taking a voltmeter reading between terminal #2 and ground in the relay base for relay 2/118.
For further information about a short-circuit to supply voltage, see Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.

Hint: The voltage between terminal #2 and ground should be approximately 0 volt.
