The ignition coils' direction and the routing of the cables are shown in the figure.

Installing parts on engine block





Install:
- the alternator, alternator bracket and auxiliary unit bracket
- the thermostat housing with coolant hose
- the oil filter housing
- the knock sensors
- the ignition coils
- the camshaft sensor
- the oil filler cap and the VVT-unit's control valve
- the crankcase ventilation hose
- cable harness engine, complete
- the upper and lower intake pipe
- the dipstick tube

Installing parts on engine block, continued





Install:
- the oil cooler and the rubber seals
- the coolant pipe (inlet water pump), including hoses, parted at the hoses to the oil cooler
- the bearing carrier for the right drive shaft
- the heat shield plate and exhaust manifold
- the upper and front timing gear casing
Fill oil.

Installing the flywheel and carrier plate

Install:
- the flywheel according to: Flywheel Service and Repair
- the carrier plate according to: Carrier plate Service and Repair
