Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

Glass for the front side door

Removing the glass from the front side door





Remove:
- the door panel according to Panel front side door Panel Front Side Door
- the tie strap on the door panel
- the door trim carefully to access the screws.
Position the window to access the two screws (A).
Remove the two screws (A).
Slide the window upwards. Remove the window.

Installing the glass in the front side door
Insert the window in the door from the top of the door.
Slide the window down until the lugs run over the window rail.
Install the two screws (A). Tighten by hand.
Wind the window up and down a few times.
Wind the window down so that the screws (A) can be tightened to 8 Nm.
Wind the window up and down a few times to check the function.

Install:
- the run-off profile according to Run-off profile Side Door With Controls
- the door panel according to Panel front side door Panel Front Side Door
Clean the window.
